I don't recommend them. I bought some from a seller on Aliexpress.

The problem I had were the reverse lights flicker about every 30 secs, not just on startup. I ended up removing them and put the halogen lights back in.

I did not receive any check control bulb out warnings.

They flicker because you didn't code out the warm and cold bulb check.

BimmerCode does not currently have this option available.

And I did not find any detailed information to code via Esys which I also use.

Do you have specific ECU and coding data?

I have those and they keep flickering, Not just when you put in reverse, it flickers all the time. i dont drive much so i have kept them. IDC about the flicker lol

Sorry. I've not much coding on the G31. But I did replace the indicators and brake lights on my F31. Have look at this F31 cheat sheet, its the one I used. I would of thought the coding would be similar.

I fitted some 50w CREE LED Pure White bulbs earlier and even coded out the bulb error warning message using BimmerCode.

I had to buy the UniCarScan OBD 2 device as my Vgate 3 wifi wss limited to what it can code on the G platform cars.

I looked through the modules but as mentioned before, nothing was clear cut. I then went into expert mode and In the Body Domain Controller I found 3061. I remember this from when I coded the bulbs in my F30 335d.

Here's what I made Not Active:

3061 RFS_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_L_IS_LED = aktiv

3061 RFS_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_L_IS_LED aktiv

Coding successful and error gone!

This is what worked for me.
3061 RFS_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_L_IS_LED = aktiv
3061 RFS_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_R_IS_LED = aktiv

I was not able to change these two lines of coding using Bimmercode. After selecting nicht aktiv it would automatically reset to 'default'
3061 RFS_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv
3061 RFS_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht aktiv

Appreciate this is an old thread but I want my front indicators and reverse bulbs to LED. Will the coding above work ok for both? Or do I need separate coding for the indicators?

I had no idea there were still non-LED's in the G30's external lights.

If you don't have the adaptive headlight then you get a normal indicator bulb. With the adaptive head you get the indicator strip on top of the main bulbs (if that makes sense)

I think it's separate coding for the front indicators. The RFS_L and RFS_R only relate to the reverse lights.
