A thought , something I noticed on my 3017 model
Lane change assistant doesn't seem to work if I reduce the lane departure vibration/ warning Haven't done a lot of testing but that seems to be the case . Might be worth considering ie ensure all of the safety aids are on before troubleshooting again |

Do you mean the vibration/warning is not working? Or the active steering wheel interruption is not working? Vibration is nearly turned of at lowest setting and it is very hard to feel at that case, so it's normal. Interruption also reduces at lower settings. Car let's you cross lanes if you are doing it with the steering wheel. It will only be active if car drifts out of lanes by itself (without steering wheel input by the driver)

I I mean if you configure the safety settings from being all on (green colour around the button on the dashboard) to individual where you reduce the intervention of lane departure warning (now yellow cooour around button on dashboard), lane change assist seems to now not work. Whether that's by design or a bug I don't know.

I have never used EsysPlus because too much work to disable constant Antivirus triggers as well as much slower than launcher pro.

Did anyone get this to work with a car that does not have it listed in the manual?

Yeah, I have S5AT - Driving Assistant Plus.
After changing those codes, did you do something in idrive menu? Do you see the option in driving assistance menu? |

I have id6 and whilst I can't comment on the coding, lane change assistant just displays a flashing lane marking for the side you are moving across to in the instrument binnacle and HUD if you have one.
At least on my car there is no option to enable or disable in the idrive menu. You just use it. Which is to ensure that lane assist is on and active and simply indicating left or right Assuming the lane is clear, the car moves across to that lane |

Lane markings turn white(become disabled) once I flick the indicator. I've also tried turning 'ALL ON' on the driving assistance menu, and also driving within speed limit.

You should not click the indicator on but instead hold it in the position with the system activated if if you flick it then the system deactivates

Is there a setting or coding for this? It doesn't show up in my HUD.

As I say can't comment on coding bu in idrive re the hud , only thing I can think is to make sure that you have everything ticked to display in the hud, there is nothing specific to change lane assist though

Are you talking about when the system is turned on? That does show up in the HUD. I thought you were talking about showing up when the system activates at ~40mph. There is a difference between the passive (steering wheel vibration) and active lane keeping.
