Show me your covers. Give me three, four, five piece bands or whatever, who are covering songs because they love them. Not because someone paid $375 for a pit seat or $50 for a lawn seat and then hit us with the $8 beer tax and a $6 hotdog. I'm not complaining… Here's one.

In continuance of me briefly stepping out of the house and electronica box which usually has me going down endless rabbit holes of new music discovery, here's one of my favorite covers.

I remember watching this after 9/11 and it gave me goosebumps. The fact this concert was put together so quickly with so many stars immediately after that terrible day....

Needless to say I bought that CD.

THIS was one of the best performances I had EVER seen. I'd be lying if I said it didn't make my eyes water a bit watching Robert Plant and Jimmy Page tearing up watching this incredible tribute performance of "Stairway to Heaven".
