Looks awesome! I don't know what you'd be waiting for. I'd have it in the garage tomorrow. Good luck!

I am a little late to this party but I have have always done a lot of work on my houses and needed a decent hauler in addition to a nice family car. I had a 1998 M3 Sedan with fold down rear seats and could get 15 8' 2x4s into it with the trunk closed. Since 2010 I have owned 5 Series sedans, a 2010 535xi M Sport and now a 2019 540xi M sport, and both had fold down rear seat backs. In both I have been able to carry a bunch of 8' to 10' 2x4s, 10' lengths of copper pipe or electrical conduit and all sorts of other things. For almost all of my hauling needs the very luxurious and comfortable 5 Series sedans have been great and really all I have needed. If I had a need to haul something bigger I just rented a truck from Home Depot. If you get the 540 you will certainly enjoy it. --Bob

Took delivery this morning! Certainly the nicest sedan I have ever owned.
Power delivery is very smooth, and honestly I am an old soul at age 34 and can appreciate the ride quality over the X3 M40i. So many more options also that I simply couldn't get with the X3. Harmon Kardon system is great, the Nappa leather is beyond comfortable, and the list goes on and on. |

Am I the only one who dislikes the new HK system? Lol it's sooo underpowered. Also I wish, the headlights were still adaptive (side to side) and matrix high beams.. other than that-still the best car I've ever owned.

I don't know if it changed with the LCI but I love the HK in my 2018. Hell, I love everything about my 2018. The adaptive headlights are pretty handy.

LCI wouldn't have been in my budget anyway. My goal was to get into a CPO that I could enjoy until we see what the next gen will bring. It's also my intro into the brand and luxury sedans, in general. I've been driving full size GM SUVs for almost two decades. I couldn't be happier with the decision. I absolutely love this car. If for some reason I am not in love with the 2024 version, I plan to do the same thing and get a CPO 2023 G30 in 4-5 years. This is hands down tied for my favorite car I've ever had. The tie is with a 2003 GMC Yukon (my first one). I've had several of those since, and none lived up to that version in ride quality and comfort. Like riding a lazy boy. I had it for a decade. So who knows, maybe I'll put 100k more on the 2018 G30.
