530e lci tune on non-lci possible?
In the e-series days you could flash m3 gts transmission software onto normal dct and the dealer wouldn’t care. I did it with winkfp.
I’m looking for a warranty capable way to flash my 250hp 2018 to have 288hp like the 2021. The engines are the same, so I don’t see why this shouldn’t work unless the DME hardware is different. Not interested in bolting cheating devices to the motor to trick the DME, unless it’s Dinan and it won’t affect warranty. Unfortunately they don’t list the 530e on their site. Thanks. |

I THINK the difference is that for 2021 they are providing additional short term boost. If you were in Europe, you could get a 545e that would do more than that including the sweet BMW I6 ICE. BUT the company won't sell that car in the US or Canada. |

Nothing 'warranty capable' but if you are ready to flash warranty aside, I would recommend MG Flasher. I have a 530e and am on Stage 1 about to go Stage 2 with a catless DP.
