My car is a '23 540i. Ive had the car for 3 weeks now. First week no issue. Started noticing it next week. When im parked, if i turn wheel to left or right, there is a deep gridding noise. Also happens when I get in my car, put it in drive, and turn wheel to drive off. I have service scheduled, just curious what could have happened, and if I should avoid driving to cause further damage. Thanks.

I suspect it just the brakes moving on the discs as you turn the wheel it's normal.

Try do it without the brakes applied probably no noise.

I had same concern when I purchased my G30.

Yeah, that's what dealer said. I just don't remember hearing it first week I had the car. Pretty annoying sound lol.
