G30: F90 control switch and start button retrofit

My people! This was a fun experiment to try. I did a 2 in 1 video! The look and feel is unmatched. Best part..it works! All oem from an F90 M5. Check it out! Let me know if you have any questions or you want help sourcing a unit ✅️

Ok... red start button I get.

The rest I don't get, you have installed a bunch of stuff that just doesn't work as intended.

Why would you want a button with a shock absorber or steering wheel on it to change your drive mode?
Why do you want an exhaust button and a setup button that does nothing?
Why do you want M-Mode buttons that just cycle through drive modes when there is already a button for that?
Why do you want the M5 shifter that has buttons on top that don't work?

Just save your pennies and go buy an M5. To each their own I guess, I just don't get it.

Hey, I'm looking to do this as well. Can you confirm that the exhaust button functions as intended on the M5? Or if that's possible?
I wanted to retrofit the M5 Competition exhaust on the M550 and use the switch like OEM.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
