You have to take the entire mirror cap off to replace. Looks like you are looking at a new mirror cap and a new blinker strip and the base #12 (may need to have it painted). Once you take the cap off, you should be able to figure out how to remove the base. It may be repairable with some super glue or at least improved. It's very easy, you need a long flat head screwdriver. You turn the mirror all the way down and all the way in towards the car. Then there are two clips on the top of the case. You need to pop those two clips. Better off ordering a new set. Plenty of options with and without the blinker. Get the new ones in hand and then you can easily see the clips I am talking about.
Plenty of YouTube videos out there.

Then you have 5 screws to take off. One is in the centre (that's Canadian for center ) of the drive (#6) and four screws in the supporting ring (#5). once you take all screws off both the supporting ring (#5) and mirror cap (#8) easily come off as Joe mentioned just two clips on each side. Make sure you go easy on them they tend to break easily. Then you should have another 2 bolts/screws that connect #11 to #12 around the base. From the looks of it, you need a new blinker and caps too but for #12 at least, they come in black only and you don't need to paint them. I found one on ebay, for ones with 360 camera but not without. It shouldn't be more than $150 for it though. ebay one is $70 before shipping so you might be better off buying it from the dealer. Good luck |

If you drop by the parts department (not the service department)…take a pic so that you can show them the exact piece you need in the diagram.

That’s only if they don’t have the parking assist option…and have shadowline trim and auto dimming mirrors.
If they have parking assist, or don’t have auto dim mirrors, or don’t have shadowline trim…then they would need a different part number. You can see examples in screen captures from one of the online part database sites below. Item #5 has multiple part nbrs based on how the car is optioned. Its probably best to use a part database site where you enter your VIN (or stop by or call your local BMW dealership’s parts dept) and again, give them your VIN so that you can get the correct part number based on how your car is optioned.
