Engine Oil - Unable to determine status
I flashed stage 1 BM3 on my car.
Everything was fine until after 20mins of driving I turned it on and off now it’s saying “Engine Oil- Unable to determine status. Please make an appointment with your service center” Anyone know how to fix this? Please let me know |

I reflashed car to stock the code went away, then flashed back to stage 1. Everything seems fine. I made sure to download the map, then flashing after instead of doing it at once. |

You just installed BM3 stage 1 for the first time tonight? Same here. Thoughts so far? Aside from the oil status issue of course.
I had a license for my 528 so it took me some time to figure out I needed to use a different login account. Then I got fairly nervous after the initial flash… i knew the error messages were coming but they typically clear at the end of the flash. This time, it cycled through the entire flash again. I was panicked for that five minutes, then I saw the “success” message. First drive in comfort mode was interesting, I drove conservatively for 15 mins or so. Some highway, some back roads and noticed some difference. Enetering the highway at even light throttle, there’s an obvious difference. Coming home, I let it pull at moderate throttle. The Mini Cooper behind me on the entrance ramp disappeared quickly. I’m actually nervous about trying sport mode. |
