Left outer brake light not working (upgraded OEM LCI tails)
A while back i installed OEM LCI lights and all was fine. Sometimes i got a message “brake light error” but the brake lights still worked. This happened when i had start-stop system on, right after the engine would turn on again i got this message. However back then all brake lights still worked.
Just recently i noticed that the outer left brake light isnt working anymore. I dont have any errors though. I tried installing the LCI outer part of a friend of mine and it also didnt work so its not the light itself but something in the wiring or coding perhaps? I think coding isnt even needed but i still did it when in installed the lights, which makes me think it has to be some wiring issue. Anyone ever had this issue? Thanks. |

Might be coding, simply because from my understanding re pinning is done because on LCI tails the turn indicator spans both inner and outer modules. Considering this is an issue with the outer module leads me to believe it might be coding related.
