I've noticed that the rear wiper arm only lifts up by around 25mm (1") on my G31 which makes it impossible to change the blade or in fact clean the glass easily. Yes you can lift the glass hatch and move the blade on it's arc to get to all the areas around the spindle but not when washing the car.

I've investigated and looks like there is a plastic tab under the nut cover that stops the arm being lifted, so you have to take the whole arm off to change the blade and you can't lift it when washing the car? Am I missing something here? searched for instructions but couldn't find anything.

Seems daft that you can't even raise it to clean wth glass properly, on both my previous F31's you could.

Anyone else suffer with this?

I’ve had the same problem and I was checking how to remove that plastic tab.

But then looking in the handbook I found this 😀
