Aluminum upgrade coolant tank G30?

Has anyone heard about upgrading the plastic expansion coolant tank for an aluminum? Someone on a facebook group posted it. This or is there another reputable place/shop that you know of makes one?

Now that I'm looking at it, if the level sensor fails. No way to replace it as there isnt a part for it?

It was probably me who posted it. It's installed now, I updated my post on the G30 USA FB group. You're right, it's integrated so the whole unit would have to be replaced.

How is it holding up? Does this create more heat soak and is it too hot to touch after a drive?

It's holding up well - no issues. It does get hot to touch after a drive, hot enough that I can't touch it.
