Oil Catch Tank OCT for G30 B48

Good news for all 5 series G30/31 owners witch B48 engine!!!

As many of you guys probably knows, there is no OCT kit for G30 chassi on the market, all kits are made for 3-series and they don't really fit because of not enouth space in engine bay and different mounting points.
But i find solution for B48 engine at least

The solution is to buy a N54 OCT Kit !!!
This is what you need:
An N54 OCT kit
90 degree - 83mm (3,25") silicone hose

Stock G30 B48 engine bay
First we need to remove intake resonator to make space for Oil Catch Tank, but let the original mount in place (the part with orange rubber one)

Then fit your 90 degree silicone hose, I bought 83mm (3,25") diameter and it fits just perfectly tight, pretty much too tight and i think 3,5'' hose could also work. The orginal hose is not really 90 degree so you may trim a bit of silicone hose endings to fit all the way.
You car reuse orginal hose clams.

Then take out OEM vent pipe and cut plastic pipe to save the endings, then place OCT silicone pipes:
The straight one from valve cover to OCT
The 180 degree one from OCT to intake pipe as below:

As you can see OCT is already mounted. I just took a bit longer bolt and super wide washer and using OEM mounting point for intake resonator simply bolted on the OCT.

Last step is to trim engine isolation foam to make space for OCT pipes

Cut the foam to the mounting level like that:

Then put engine isolation back and there should be no contact to the pipes and so on.

And that's all!!
