2021 G30 540i m sport bumper conversion

Hey, I am currently in the market for a 2021 540i xDrive and finally found an almost perfect vehicle. It is loaded with every option other than m sport. One of my favorite parts of the m sport package was the front bumper. I was looking online and found that I can get an after market m sport conversion front bumper from ikkon motorsport. Is this something that can be done or are the mounting points and internals different?

Yes it can be done, it’s exactly the same. I know, because I’ve done it aswell. Mine was Sportline and I converted it to M-sport with M-perfomance parts (lip, skirts and diffusor)

It can be a hassle sometimes, but is just out with the old and in with the new.

But if you do decide to buy it, when the bumper arrives, double check that the holes where the screws go in are at the same spot, because sometimes there can be production defects. Happened to me and I just sent it back and they sent me a new one.

I’ve out a before and after so you can see for yourself

Not totally related because OP is asking about doing this on an LCI car but did you not need these pieces when you did your M sport conversion?

Yes, but since he is ordering a conversion bumper, I just assumed that everything needed followed suit.
Fx I ordered this: “https://dm-autoteile.de/AN-Sport-Per...ch-M-Paket-17” and this included everything necessary. If it doesn’t include, I hope it at least says that it’s not included, because if it doesn’t, thats a terrible seller. But i’m from the EU and maybe its normal in the US, idk.

And regarding it being LCI, i’m 98% sure that it’s exactly the same process for it, because they use the exact same fitting points and so on, no? I know the car underneath is identical, just the cosmetic parts that are different. He just needs to make sure that its made for tye LCI, because the pre-LCI has conversion kits to make it look LCI.

P.S. When I was fitting the M-Sport parts on, I did notice that, in my case for the pre-LCI, some parts were identical to the base/sport- and luxury line parts. But better to get everything, than to end up missing items while fitting the parts on.

Did you have any issues with the parking sensors/blind spot systems? Did anything have to be recalibrated or anything
