New TPMS sensors

Does anyone know if some kind of system reset is required or something? Or if you change wheels with different (OEM) sensors, if the car simply picks them up? EDIT : Ok, I searched my answer, it seems like it should pick them up assuming the TPMS system on my 2022 530i will pick up TPMS sensors that were on a 2019 530i. Anyone know if they run on the same frequency ?

I bought a separate winter wheel/tire set for my 2018 M550 and I now use them on my 2021 M550 and the TPMS worked fine for both cars.

Hi, Just had my rear right sensor replaced due to TPMS failure (RDC). Replaced with oem and only what you need to do is Confirm tyre settings in iDrive eg. Summer 20” and drive for a few minutes. Pictures attached of new and old sensors even numbers not matching but no problem.
