Flew to Alabama and bought this 17' 540i Imperial Blue on Cognac then drove 500 miles back to Florida yesterday

I've got the full M sport kit with M550i fog delete parts, a bunch of carbon stuff, LCI tails, DRL module, springs (until I figure out coils) and some other parts on the way

Cheers , yeah that’s the new name for Champagne Quartz Metallic. I guess it can now be called grey as having the colour listed as beige on the documentation may not have been everyone’s cup of tea.

After a long drive from Calias tucked up in the underground car park in Osnabruck for a rest

Stayed remarkably clean considering it had just travelled 580Km and the day before a further 275Km or 535 Miles total if you prefer. Certainly scrubbed in the new rear tyres !

EDIT: A few more pictures. Alot of things I have to do to car/ parts ordered and arrived but literally have no time to work on car atm bc of work schedule😓 will post when I decide to take a few days off from work to show updates.

Also, in a few months I should be able to make some huge changes. Only thing is, im wondering if keeping 540i and completely upgrading drivetrain with pure trans and engine internals would be the right move considering money and time ive invested already or just selling for a M5? Probably same year or 2019. Let me know your thoughts!
