Advice with wheels, tires, and fitment
My tires have been running low on tread and one of my wheels have had a slight bend (only slightly noticible at 90mph+) for a while now. Since I have to get new tires soon anyways I figured might as well get new wheels. I would also like to lower the car on H&R springs, they are cheap and work well from what i've read. I want my car to look good, drive smooth, and look good
I'm planning on getting Michelin Pilot Sport 4 AS and running a square setup regardless. When I do drop the car on H&R springs I want the fitment to be flush or near flush. I am leaning towards 19 inch wheels but if y'all can convince me to get 20s (most concerned about ride quality, but i've heard its negligble with non RFTs) I can work with that. My dilema is which wheels I should get. I was eyeing HRE ff10s but I feel like they would look like theres too much going on for a g30. Also was looking at Vossen hf-7s and might be leaning towards these. But most importantly is what color wheels. My car is CQM (champagne quartz metallic) and I don't know what color wheels would look the best. I've been debating wrapping the car satin black, but i'm not set on that yet so I want the color to be interchangable between cqm and satin black. ANY ADVICE HELPS!! sorry if asking for too much TLDR; what color and size and style wheels look best on a cqm g30 |

My vote would be silver HREs, but either wheel would look fantastic on a lowered car with flush fitment. You'd def need to run spacers in the rear if you want to run a square setup though.

Went through a similar dilemma earlier this month! I switched over to Rohana’s (per tire shop rec and bunch of ppl on m550 Facebook group). So happy with how it turned out.

That looks awesome. You need some painted (or wrapped) reflectors to complete the stealth look!

This is the exact set up I want (fitment-wise) for my 540i. Are you running spacers or just staggered and lowered? What’s the front and rear widths you got here because it’s perfect - also offset? I have MSS springs on the way but I really want to make sure I pull the trigger on the right rims. |
