Oil leaking around filler cap
Hello,
My cars at 55k miles and I am leaking oil around my filler cap. I took a video but I can’t post it. Anyone experience this? It’s pretty bad… |

The cap has a rubber sealing ring. What condition is it in? Assume you refer to the engine oil filler cap? Its odd as there isn't much oil in there and on mine even with the cap not fitted it only splatters a little.

Cleaned the area/filler cap and the gasket looked okay.
Going to wait and see if it happens again. Scanned the car as well and no codes (i have rough idle sometimes so thought maybe something else was up) |
