What are some of the coolest gifts you've gotten. What are some ideas you have that would make for pretty cool gifts?

I have a white elephant exchange coming up with a $30 limit and I'm stumped on what to give that would be cool/funny.

I've never heard of Kris Kringle exchange

But to be fair I barely even know what white elephant is. Was just told to buy something stupid and useless for under $30.

Found this:

A white elephant gift is a humorous, impractical, or unwanted gift that's often exchanged at parties. The term comes from a legend about the King of Siam (now Thailand) who would give white elephants to courtiers he disliked. The idea was that the upkeep costs of the elephants would ruin the recipients.

Very timely, we just had our work holiday potluck and white elephant gift exchange. One of the hilarious gifts was empty to go containers and foil (assuming to be used for the leftovers from the potluck).

Shake weight never disappoints. Also seen the snoop dogg cookbook.

Couldn’t do this today but we had a white elephant party at work where all gifts were wrapped and anonymous. First person opened a gift then the next person could take the first gift or open a new one. Well my friend bought a pink vibrator and put little eyes and some pink fur on it, labeling it “tickle me Elmo”. It very entertaining to watch folks choosing the take Elmo rather than opening a new gift. And yes our office was mostly women…
