Hey guys,

My car is a G31 540i LCI from 2023.
It's equipped with option 4UR ambient lights.
Now I added the rear foot well lights and also the ambient lights
at the backside of the seats. Like they are in a G38 or G32 for example.
The lights works so far. They are connected in row, starting from the right, front
foot well light.
So if I open any the front doors, all four foot well lights switches to on and
and show a warm white colour.
But when I open the rear doors, the rear foot well lights shows the
coloured light. I like to have these lights in warm white when I open
the rear doors.

Does anyone knows how to do a coding on this?
And is there a possibility to let the lights on the rear section show
white colour, after I set the ambient lights to white/green for example?

Did you make sure the additional footwells you added were the same P/N? I believe the F97/8 seats I messed around with had only warm white lighting. I believe what you’re trying to achieve is footwell lighting that’s independent to the ambient lights? The same lights at the bottom of the doors.

I have searched for the coding of the interior lights without success. If you find, let me know also. I want the puddle lights to come on when the dome light is switched off. Looks like it is impossible without rewiring the lights.
