Torreto and I found that 2nd gear worked best and I gather most of the fast cars use 2nd. Skipping a gear and with custom launch control in 2nd works best for me.

I never got better than 1.77s 60 foot using the stock launch control with xHP stage 3 so your 1.69s is very good. I wonder if the 2021s have a different default launch RPM?.

The best I've ever done is 1.64s 60 foot. 1.5s would be achievable with newer tyres, dropping pressures and a driver mod. I've not done enough runs to launch perfectly and there is at least 2 tenths to 100 and the 1/4 that can be got with enough practice according to Torretto.

I’m not sure, I wouldn’t put it past BMW to have updated the engine calibration on the 06/2020 LCI.

I did my 1.69 60ft run on E20 mixture and 98 fuel, JB4 Map 3 and used launch control but stood on the gas peddle for around 4 seconds to let it build boost.

I’ve now bought xHP flash combo, so I’ll get the Toretto custom tune along with Baski’s tune. There’s been a work-around to overcome the FEMTO unlock procedure by cloning the DME’s. I should get my DME’s after Easter, then work with a local BMW performance shop in Perth, along with Toretto and Baski to get a custom engine/trans tune to run 98 fuel and E30.

My supplier just notified me today the catless DP’s are ready to ship, they should be here in a week or so too. I’m hoping to get this all together in the next 4-6 weeks and hit the Motorplex again.

I’m aiming for a low to mid 10 with their tuning and the DP’s. I’ll retain the cat back system for now until I decide to upgrade it. I’m dealing wth a supplier in China who’s around 15%-25% the cost of other brand name exhausts for exhaust systems.

The car is in next week to get the front diff replaced under warranty. Yay!

Oh wow I thought the clone DME method is limited to b58 and a few other models but not n63tu3? Could you hook me up please I need to look into this 🥹 and which DP I did you go with? VRSF? I couldn’t really find any dp that fits the tu3 besides AA which cost three times more than VRSF 🫠

The mod list looks solid, you should be doing low 10s or high 9s. Launch practice is key!

With the front diff how many kms have you done? My car is out of warranty and whilst I want to go faster I don't know if I want to beat on the car any more. I have a circuit race car coming online in the next year or so that will be way faster than I can make the M550i and I can beat on that.

Interesting point wth the diff. The car’s travelled 53,000kms, but the diff whine was apparent when I bought it at 11,000kms.

I’ll probably go down the path of using xDelete and changing the torque split front to rear from 50/50 to 40/60 or 30/70, taking the load off the front diff. This will be trial and error.
