Maxton front and rear splitter Installed :D
Edited. Added the rear side splitter. I think it finishes it off subtely but nicely. Still debating on if I need to put on the side skirts or not...
Installed the Maxton Front Splitter V.2 Today. Fitment was good! Had to add 3m tape and then used 5/8 inch self tapping screws to secure it. Will Update Thread once I get the side skirts and rear side splitters on. Attachment 3559193 Last edited by Mizuno; 09-23-2024 at 03:53 PM.. Reason: added photos |

Sets it off nicely, especially with the black/gray contrast.

How are you liking the Dinan springs? Just need some spacers or new wheels now to fill out those wheel wells! ![]() |

![]() Springs are great! Settled nicely and looks just a bit more aggressive imho. Spacers will definitely happen! |

I have the Maxton front lip as well as the side skirt, been thinking about the rear diffusers. Only thing is, I hate the big maxton M on the diffusers as well as the lip

From what I can tell it looks like just a thick emblem. glued on. Prolly easy to pull off. If anything just put a lil black paint on it its not that big

A reseller shop told me they are just “stickers” that you can peel off and clean the leftover glue. I myself also dislike the logo stickers a lot.

Considering getting this front splitter, any chance you made a video or anything that shows how you attached it? Will be one of my first modifications I do to my 540i so I don't want to break anything.

It’s pretty easy, but i needed a helper to get it perfect. Jack up the car, mock it up with some 3m tape to get it perfectly aligned, and then drill holes in it. They supply screws and nuts but that would involve take the bumper off to secure the other side. I just used self tapping screws and it’s holding on fine

I did not. It was easy I used 3m tape and self tapping screws. Alignment was tricky but I just drove up a ramp and used some wood blocks and painters tape to hold it in place while I worked around
