Hey anyone here installed a valvetronic exhaust on their 340 or 540i post 2020? Curious to know if the video they have on the website is accurate as far as the pop and burble.

The pops and burbles depends mostly if your car is tuned. A tune such as BM3 you customize how much or how little the pops and burbles.

I have the VD exhaust on my 2018 540i paired with an AA downpipe and did not get any pops/burbles on the stock tune. It wasn’t until I enabled them in MHD that they appeared.

The exhaust sounds great with and without burbles. I use multimap to switch to what I’m in the mood for.

a higher flow exhaust / downpipe will increase make the burble sound more pronounced, but for a big change you would need a flash tune
