I know its extremely common for the M550 guys and I get why, it sounds amazing. Is anyone running it on the 540?

I found out RKtunes sells one and claims it fits the 5 series. I'd love to hear clips and any reviews if so. Are there any known downsides to the front mount intakes?

I didn't see any front mount intakes on your site, I just went now to get a link to replace my RK Tunes link with yours since you are so active on the forums. Are you saying you sell the BMS intake but not the front mount.

BMS does not offer a front mount intake for the 540, i was referring to the RK tunes front mount intake

Edit: i must have been looking at the wrong RK tunes front mount

When that comes in stock in black/black I may take the plunge. I’d like to hear it on a 540 first but the way it sounds on every other platform is nice to me.

That is the one I looked at initially but once I went to RK tunes website, they dont show it as available for the 540

We dont stock RK tunes, but we drop ship directly from them

I ordered this with black tubing and black filter just now so it stays sleeper look. They are having a Black Friday sale and I got it for about $420 shipped. Will be having my local BMW wizard install this once it comes in.

take pictures of the install and send it to your vendor or RK tunes directly
