It can vary depending on how the vehicle is optioned…and can either be an AGM or Lithium battery…but it generally provides extra power for some of the car’s options and electrical functions like start stop….or if you have integral steering or other high electrical need options. There’s also usually a PCU (power control unit) that monitors the aux battery and helps with the transference of power from the vehicle to the aux battery and vice versa.

Thanks Qsilver, that makes sense. Some people were saying that seemed too good to be true

I have Ista+P, is there any links how to program the cluster.

Is it a case of backing up all existing ones somewhere in Ista+ and reloading them back into the new one?
