Installed the MAD axleback system on my 540. A friend and I put it together. The exhaust came first, & the box was a little cut and damaged at one corner. But the exhaust itself is wrapped up great. The MAD valve controller arrive a few days late. I changed the diffuser as well, probably didn’t need to, but i’m liking the black with the black tips.

Straight forward install for the most part. Cutting the stock pipe and installing the spring for the valve may have been the most challenging of the whole process. But the sound is so good paired with the MAD high flow catted downpipe. Installing the MAD valve controller was probably the easiest. Literally plug and play. Paired the remote with my rear view mirror. Crazy to control the exhaust note with your mirror.

Also, the order did come with the reducer which was definitely needed. & my order did not come with exhaust tip clamps. I’m not sure if this is standard and they expect you or the shop to provide them. I emailed them and didn’t get a response. But we went to our local Autozone and got some exhaust tip clamps from them. They do the job.

Nice …. The exhaust tips looks great. All clamps should have come with the exhaust. Their customer service is great. Being the weekend I’m sure they will respond by Monday and hopefully give a small refund for the clamps. Nice sound right…. Not too loud?

Yeah I’m still waiting for an email back about it, but for the time being Autozones clamps are doing just fine. But the sound is great. It’s not obnoxiously loud, it’s the deep quality sound for me that i like, & this system’s got it. 10/10
