I have a 2017 BMW 530e with a 9kw battery and I replaced it with a 2023 12kw battery bought from scrapyards, I changed all 6 modules, a change must be made to the bms plugs, currently it works ok, the 9kw modules are identical to the 12kw ones, they have the same size and mountings

Bumping this thread- my battery most days is showing 7 mile range on full charge, and quickly goes down to 6. My BMW service center is saying there's nothing they can do without an error message. This doesnt sound right. I believe we have broader battery warranties and protections available in California. For an update I only have 27K miles on the vehicle. What's other people currently seeing on their 2018 530e?

Further to the last post, have 27K miles on the clock and I think I've seen a further degradation of the battery on my 2018 530E

Surely this is a clear cut warranty claim?!
