Question about MHD flex fuel kit
Now im planning to get a TU pump and start mixing ethanol. I heard it can be a complicated process without mhd flex fuel kit.
For those who dont have the flex fuel kit, is it safe without it and if you guys do run E witnout it, how do you ensure that you wont blow your motor? For those who do have flex fuel kit, how does it work? Like i put in 50/50 93 and e85 and it will automatically adjust using the MHD multi-map? |

Must have, if you are mixing ethanol. You plug it once between the fuel lines and it reports real time E % (or rather lack of gasoline) and my tune adjusts accordingly on the fly. You can definitely feel a big difference between no E vs 40% E. Pro: I do not have to worry about the final E % after refueling as different stations have different E % for flex fuel (50-85). I can run between 91 octane to 93 to all the way upto any percentage of E in my car with out worry. (though on TU pump the Ethanol power gains peak out around 30-40 % )

The benefit with flex fuel kit is, I can be super precise with how much E% I want to run at any given time or another way to look at it is not worry about not matching a said %.
