no, SLI read info from maps and kafas camera
yes, possible to code, but for bigger speeds. For bigger speeds you see LIMIT

Issue with Speed Limit Information (SLI) Recognition on BMW G30 530e

Car details:

BMW G30 530e 2018
iDrive version: NBTevo_Y21432J
Speed Limit Information (SLI) enabled
Navigation maps are for the USA, but I am in Azerbaijan

What I changed:
I used BimmerCode and modified the following parameters:

3000 KAFAS_COMMON → COUNTRY_VARIATION → 0x01
3005 SLI_NPI_CODING → SLI_ENABLE→ 0x01
3005 SLI_NPI_CODING → NPI_ENABLE→ 0x01
3005 SLI_NPI_CODING → SLI_MODE → 0x01
3005 SLI_NPI_CODING → COUNTRY_CODING_DISPLAY → 0x00
3005 SLI_NPI_CODING → UNIT_DISPLAY→ 0x00
3005 SLI_NPI_CODING → COUNTRY_SLINPI_MODE
Bytes 0-58 → 0x00
Bytes 59-127 → 0xFF

Issue:

My car does not recognize European speed limit signs (red circular signs).
However, once it displayed 120 km/h, but I suspect it was misreading an American-style sign.

What I want:
I want SLI to work only with the camera and recognize European speed limit signs correctly, since my navigation data is for the USA and is not useful for Azerbaijan.

Has anyone successfully activated SLI for European road signs on a US-coded BMW G30? Any advice on further coding changes?

I have a US spec g30 where I can see the sign named limit. The car is in Armenia so no maps and no SLI support. How can I code the car to use camera only and read european speed limit signs(limit in red circle)
