Unhappy VERY squeaking door panel

Ever since i got my 550 (2023,7k-mile used, no accident) this February, I noticed the driver side door squeaks when I opened the door. I felt like it's been getting worse. And searching from all similar posts around the forum, mine sounds the worst.

Here is the video

I surely dont wanna go insane but as you can see&hear it squeaks everytime i opened the door, there's no escape.

It seems to me that it's not from the door hinge but from inside the door panel, somewhere under the mirror.

I will try my luck with dealership but im not sure if they can resolve it the first try. Would love to hear if anyone encountered this issue before.

Thanks!

Had the same issue, clean and lubricate the little rubber seal directly below where the mirror meets the door and then open and close the door a few times, should go away.

I had this issue on my 2023 m550
I would describe it as more of a creak than a squeak
It’s most apparent when the door move against the 2 resistance points as you open the door

My first thought was it was the hinges but that was not the case. Thosecresistance points would presumably cause the the door to flex in some way and that cause the creak noise
The creaking noise could be heard at random times when driving
The noise would come from inside the door near to the pillar , not near the hinges

So the good noise is it was fixed by the dealer under warranty
Never seen before but it was due to binding between the interior and exterior door frame

About 2 hours of work and it was fixed

They did show me some photos of the work undertaken but difficult to really see what’s going on

Take itvtobthecdesler and because it’s easy to create without having to drive so they can find it very easily

Hey Stefan. I assume you have to take the mirror off in order to fully reach that tiny seal?

I didn’t, I sprayed the whole exterior assembly with a rubber-safe interior cleanser and wiped down all the seals with microfiber cloth, then hit that lower seal with a good amount of gummi phlege and moved the door through its squeaky point maybe a couple dozen times, noise went away and hasn’t come back. Saw a post elsewhere on these forums that had the same issue and their solution was cleaning and lubing that little mirror seal, worked for me too.

Im 99% certain that i got the same issue here. I just tried to lift and hold the mirror while closing/opening the door, the squeaking almost fully went away!

gummi phlege ordered!

Will report back soon!

There is tape you can put in between the mirror and the door trim. My dealer said the mirror was rubbing on the trim and they got it fixed by adjusting the mirror I believe. Good luck

update:

it worked!

it's kinda hard to reach the rubber trim piece under the mirror tho. i used tiny q-tips then sprayed some 303 Products Aerospace Protectant Spray.

thanks again!

I’ve got the same issue. Does anyone have a pic of the exact space we need to focus on to get this fixed?

I don't have the problem, but I am super curious about the parts and seals that need to cleaned and lubed under the mirror. I can't even picture what you are talking about.

I feel like a pass side rear door squeaks like crazy over bumps. Unless it's the sunroof that everyone talks about? I'm about to rip the door card off and drive around to see if it still happens.
