[QUOTE=brettbmw;24086351]govberg/watchbox. I've bought several used from them and have complete trust. the used watches are always serviced before resale, and typically restored to some degree (if needed). they will negotiate on price. really cant recommend enough.

I've got an Seamaster model 1501/823 that I bought new in the 90's. I wear it occasionally and I really like it when I'm feeling a bit retro.
I just have a cell phone and I can't get a good photo which is probably a good thing since a sharp image would show all the scratches. Here's a photo from that I got from the web of the watch. General comment: I am amazed by the quality of the photos I see posted on this thread. How do you all do it? Anyone care to share their secrets? |

Beautiful watch and pics. I have several watches but only two premier models that really gets me excited, a Rolex Submariner and an Omega Speedmaster, just like yours. I have a Submariner and a Speedy will be next.

Thanks to this thread, and wanting something totally different than all my other watches, I picked up a red Speedy on my trip to Venice this week. Kind of fitting with the gondola on the back for this trip. It wears nice and comfortable with the rubber band.
