They can't bring anyone in from outside without five (?) days of clean NFL-administered COVID tests. Kapernick was already rules out, as was Tebow (oh, the irony!) The NFL also said no to one of their position coaches being signed to the active roster, but I'm not sure that it was for COVID reasons.....

Another interesting development in the NFL is that the county where the 49ers play just shut down ALL athletic events. They are looking for alternate venues for the Bills/49ers Monday Night game on 12/7, and what's left of the Oakland Coliseum is one option on the table.

The following week, the Bills play the Steelers...who are now just coming into their own COVID situation. After that, the next Bills opponent is the quarterback-less Broncos as a marquee Saturday game.....

Saints were a 6 point favorite prior to this news. Now it's between 13-14 and rising.

I'm not a fan of either team but anyone know why the NFL denied moving the Denver game to Tuesday whereas they've moved the Ravens from Thursday to Sunday and then to Tuesday. Seems like a double standard to me.

Good question. Possibly given the very recent positive test, Tuesday is not long enough for the Denver players to isolate before being cleared. But honestly have not followed the situation for Ravens/Steelers closely enough to know what's going on there...

I don't think that I was too far off, the former Wake Forest QB turned WR has been named the starter. Kendall Hinton was with the Broncos during camp and made it till the last cut. Does anyone know if he was on the practice squad or did the league stretch the rules to make him eligible? Seems like they were pushing for a coach to suit up...hilarious! Maybe Andy Reid can fill in should Patrick go down!

I heard a comment on some show: "if it's you can't guarantee that players won't swap infection, OK. But if it's because somebody got sick and can't play, sounds like an injury report. Play ball!"

pretty sure its because the broncos qbs werent following protocol and the nfl wanted to make an example out of it

the reason they keep moving is because its classified as an "active outbreak" and per their protocols, they cant play when a team has an active outbreak going on

i mean, having trash at qb, a destroyed oline, and an injured defense isnt helping much. lets see what happens when mccarthy has a real qb and an oline that isnt made up of guys they found tailgating before the game.

Even as a Giants fan I’ll root for him if they make the playoffs. Speaking of which, it’s safe to say the Eagles won’t make it out of the division. Dallas, Giants and Washington all have an open shot to host a home playoff game. And anything can happen.
