The shows are total BS. My brother picked up a gig in Palm Springs posing as some chicks husband on one of those house shopping shows on HGTV. He just wandered around going "hmmm, yeah, this is really nice...." while a fake agent walked them though a couple houses. He hooked up with his TV "wife" after the shoot.

I work on homes owned by some of the richest people in the state, most have these things in common, they drive beaters, they love Costco like want to have sex with it if possible and have annoying dogs. I'm looking at you Brookline Massachusetts
