I must be the biggest Boomer on here without actually being a Boomer.

I still mostly use a browser on a desktop/laptop to view forums and such. Social media on the phone and I do have the BP app on my phone that I use occasionally but still prefer the desktop and use it 95+% of the time.

Phone is too convenient but I like computer experience better. Thought about getting a pad but then it’s something else to update every 3-4 years cause it would get old and slow.

Any of you bastards have a better way of cleaning the interior windshield and rear window other other than wiping it by hand? I need a hack, tool or app for these jobs. I’m too fat, lazy and American to be contorting myself like this every 2-3months

The easiest way I’ve found for the windscreen is to slip on a MF glove, find that easier than trying to keep hold of a cloth. As for the rear that’s easy, just pop open the tailgate glass….oh yeah, you guys can’t do that

Went to get breakfast for the family. Rare occasion and the morning sun was too good to pass up with a clean car. I should of left the giant side mirror drips and “meter” long patch of dirt i missed just to drive you guys crazy.

I recommend spraying the cleaner on the pad and then scrubbing the windshield and then change to a clean pad to buff. I also recommend putting down an old towel across the dash to protect it if you have a leather dash

Thanks. That must be on the bimmerpost app, right? I was using my safari browser in mobile mode for the site. I’ve since switched to the desktop site on my iPhone safari browser but I will download the app I guess.

I don't know about Android tablets, if they even still exist outside of Samsung, but iPads last a hell of a long time. I have an OG Air from 2013 and a 10.5" Pro from 2018 that that are both still going on strong.

Kind of a niche use-case, though.

I haven't used the Invisible glass tool but I did get the Stoner cleaning tool that a few detailers recommended.


I will say you don't need to invest in a dedicated glass cleaner for cars. There's Sprayway foaming glass cleaner that I use on my bathroom shower door and mirrors as well as on my cars. I bought some Gyeon shit thinking a dedicated cleaner would be nice and it works just the same. It's just $11 a bottle. Thumb firmly in ass on that one.

Well you may feel better because I’m sure its ceramic and tint safe. I remember being told by tinter back in the day to use ammonia free product as it can eat away at the tint. Not sure if that still the case.
