I know it's extremely nit picky, but the crazy moonroof is one of the things that's making me look at the x7. I.ve always been a 5 series guy but now that I'm turning into an old man I find my self caring more about these cool whiz bang niceties and it's disappointing that the e class has it but not the 5. I guess I will sit and cross my fingers and hope that for some reason you're wrong. I'm getting tired of not knowing for sure what I want my next vehicle to be! |

To be honest, I said the same thing. Subtle hints of Audi in that design.

Non M sport looks awful! Then again all non m sport bmw nowadays looks awful.
Not liking the new lazy angel eyes and I definitely prefer the old rear tail lights |

What's with the notch cut out of the eye lids? I didn't notice that in the early pics. The lights would be quite nice without that chunk missing. Let's be sure to f it up so it doesn't look too good.

The G31 touring has the larger moonroof (though not as big as the X7) by the way. |

The angel eyes used to be original - to think that BMW was one of the trend setters and they were distinctly BMW - consistently applied across the model line.
These look watered down and derivative of Audi - case in point being the VW ad that shows up ... |

I hope there is some kind of non-luxury trim without the garish chrome bits for those who do not want to pony up for MSport. For the base "xLine" SAVs, the bodywork projects a different personality than the MSport versions, but none looks cheap or incomplete. In some cases like the X3, I actually prefer the xLine. I wish it was the same with BMW's cars.

Stop trying to make front fascia triangles happen. It's never going to happen.

So excited!!! After all these years of hard work and climbing the corporate ladder I can finally drive a car that will remind me of the first car I ever drove, a Honda Accord. Thanks Hondaw

The VW headlights look s@@t. What's with the cut-out in the headlight eyebrow? Looks like a bodge instead of a design feature.
BMW always had brand recognisable headlights...not anymore, it just blends in with all the other mass produced cars on the road. Is BMW loosing its way?

Why do European cars are more towards Chinese taste bud nowadays? Even the latest S-class W223.. it is so China-ish. And CLS260? Dafuq? C'mon, CLS is meant for at least a 6 cyl or 2.0 most. Not a petty 1.5l??
Chinese maybe awesome in managing wealth and businesses. But when it comes to taste, European still excel.

That chrome on the se model looks so cheap.
Absolutely hideous. Well we should see the official launch in a week or two now..... I have a 2017 540 and I see no reason at this stage to be remotely tempted to upgrade to a loci. Stick with what I have which I'm very happy with |
