I use Adam’s VRT on the tires. It’s a poor man’s CarPro Perl. Water based, lasts over a week, and doesn’t sling unless you really overdo it.

I’ve been using Hydrosilex interior cleaner. It works very well. I go back over glossy surfaces with Meguiars shine and protect. I may eventually use a coating product on those glossy interior surfaces. That product works well to get any scuffs out of leather but typically I use Chemical Guys leather cleaner and a brush and/or microfiber towel. I like to go back over the seats and dash with Duragloss (tip from Joe-BMW33

On the all weather mats I will just use dish soap and a tire brush.

I’ve using Bead Maker when I have to go to the towel (Korean Microfiber &#128514 to get those spots the EGO didn’t. I use it more as a drying aid and lubricant just to me sure the towel isn’t micro scratching. I also use Bead Maker on the glass and follow it with my trusty purple norwex glass towel.

Don’t use all weather mats in the G30. I do in the X5. I take them out, foam cannon them as I’m coating the car, and then power wash them.

Well since you ask, I think I’d go with Yellow on your car. Something a little different than the common Blue and Red.

I was sorta thinking along those lines as well

Blue would just get lost in all the body blue and red is just very ordinary!

That would be me! A very expensive experiment, deviated from BMW for less than a year. What a piece of shit. They sound faster than they are, they have no technology, they have body roll like a Lincoln Town Car and all the components are made by Chrysler. The buttons on everything are identical to the buttons on a Jeep.

Let me tell you my thoughts, having owned an M6, a 550 and now this 540, the Maseratis were quicker, much better sounding and eye-catching. The Ferrari built V-8s would SCREAM, and I topped out around 185-190mph! I never had anything major go wrong with any of them, but I know it was only a matter of time! Here are a few shots of my former Italian rides.

I will say all of them but the Gran Turismo are just for show. Paddle shifting in Sport mode NEVER once got old!

Not my experience at all with my 2006 Coupe, and 2014 and 2016 GTs! All very light, fast and sounded like Gran Prix supercars!!!

I will admit the technology is very dated, but the 2016 was the best of all of them. The radio looked like it came out of a 1980 K car!!

That said, I don’t view the anniversary badges as even in the same universe. The only thing that really influences the anniversary badge is the production date. Most of the ‘21 and ‘23 lineup are just about identical to the 22’s, not even any mechanical differences to speak of. Fair game in my humble opinion. You wouldn’t even know it’s “fake” without literally running the VIN. And were/aren’t they offered as a dealer retrofit?

But this is coming from someone who put knockoff eBay LCI taillights on their car and has no shame about it.

I’m the one who posted the picture of my anniversary badges so I can tell you it’s definitely still offered as a retrofit! I had it done at my 20k service.

If I didn’t have a 2021+ then I’d feel weird putting them on.

I should have noted this was a newer Ghibli, just a P.O.S. I think the GT is their bread and butter and flagship car these days. I do like the GT, all generations. Those are some bad ass GT's you had there.

To be fair, some things I did like. The exterior design of the Ghibli is just sexy, this was why I bought it. They are exclusive whereas G30's are like every 10th car I pass on the highway. The interior colors are very cool, quality not so much. The exhaust on that Ghibli was music from the factory. A little obnoxious for the neighbors though, but it sounded nice. It just wasn't as fast as it sounded. That V6 had to work until the turbos kicked in.
