One more question - I think I'll be going PCP this time, I previously had a PCP, then bought my 6 outright, but need to probably go back to PCP. Can someone remind me, how is the loan calculated, is the final payment included in the finance? I have seen the Carwow calculator that says it's not but the BMW calculator implies it is

The final payment is an optional payment - the value of it is taken into account when calculating the monthly rentals, but it is shown as a seperate figure in the quote. I would get your car sorted (ignoring the numbers from CarWow) and then get a PCP quote directly from your chosen dealer.

My PCP had a monthly figure around the £600 mark and a final (optional) payment after 4 years of £20K (ish) if I want to buy the car.

The interest charged is calculated on the whole cost of the car less any discounts/deposits/dealer contributions etc. paid up front (so that includes the optional payment).

There are still dealers out there who tell customers that they're not being charged interest on the balloon.

Currently the best price I have on my latest build is 18% off so I think I can do better, and will have to for it to fit in my budget or else sacrifice some options!
Just email the official quote for 18% discount to other dealers and they will all be able to beat it. They all buy the cars from BMW at the same price anyway.

The wait is over. Picked the car up yesterday. It's beautiful to drive and sit in. I'm a very happy man!

Thumbs up Just about to order mine!

Lovely looking motor! About to order a saloon with very similar spec, torn between Sophisto and Black Sapphire...you have just swayed me back to black!

With regards to discount, Im currently at an actual %19.5 (worked out with the actual figures on the vehicle order form as opposed to carwow figures) so not too bad I guess? Only downside the dealer is 250 miles away...they will put me and the family up in a 4 star hotel and spa though..swings and roundabouts I guess

You have done the right thing. I have always thought it is unfair to get a good deal from a dealer and get the car from another dealer with the exact same deal.

The dealer I am going with has been good from the start to be fair, I think it’s a reasonable discount at 19.5% and he has been quick to respond and answer any queries etc. Local dealers where nowhere near even after some between them.

Just getting him to throw in the black grilles now and it’s a done deal

I was actually between Sophisto and Sapphire Black but my previous two cars have both been grey (Space Grey F11 and Tornado Grey A6) so that was enough for me to go for the black this time. Both nice colours so whatever you go for will look good.

I got mine debadged at the factory as well so the only chrome on my car is the highlights on the handles and the wheels. Just the right amount in my eyes!

Placed the order this morning! Sophisto grey

My current (soon to be last) car is black so I've gone the other way (also debadged)
