You changed the bumper and fenders, correct. Do you really need the fenders to fit the bumper? I have 530e with m-pack but would rather get the OEM F90 bumper, but due to the charging port, changing fenders is not an option

Yes I changed the bumper and fenders and I also have driving assistance so I had to change the mounting brackets for the radar to have it work

You have to also change the fender to fit the bumper it is wider than the g30

You can probably try to jerry rig the charging port door on the m5 fenders

Thanks for the reply, too much work to change to that bumper from the M sport package . Didn’t even think about the radar, have that too.

I don't know if you really need to change the fenders to change the front bumper. I saw a youtube vid with a G30 in Thailand that had the M5 front, rear, and side skirts. Still had the G30 front fenders and hood.

You sure the bumper was OEM M5? I think they make aftermarket M5 bumpers that fit the G30 fenders.

You do have a point. I'm not sure if it was OEM, but he had a bunch of OEM retrofits on the car. The video wasn't in English either, so I have no idea what they were saying, but they were reviewing the car.

I know the video you are talking about. There is a guy on one of the FB groups that bought the aftermarket M5 bumper that fits the G30, it looked pretty good, at least from FB pics. He put it on a 530, which I don't quite understand. That said, I don't have much of an interest in this modification or putting M5 body parts on a G30 M550. I think I would just get an F90 if the urge was that strong. To each his own though.

Can you please confirm that the F90 hood fits on a standard G30 M-sport without changing to F90 fenders? I'm looking to get an used F90 hood on my G31 540i so would be nice to know. Thanks.

Yes the f90 hood will fit on a g30 with stock fenders

I had the same issue with the CEL so I re-used my stock one but cut out the whole housing. Pre-LCI has stoppers for the motor, LCI does not do it will keep spinning and throw a CEL. It’s very easy to cut out.

How did you make it work, because I want to do the same mod, but all the aftermarket bumpers have issues with fitment. How did you make it work?
