Fitted the wifi antenna and today followed the instructions to enable apple carplay via Bimmercode but it has not enabled. I have NBTevo_Y21432J

Would appreciate some assistance.

Awesomeness. Even though I had previous paid for the widescreen CarPlay mod using remote coding and an ENET cable, I was worried about it not working after getting the latest iDrive 6 software update yesterday. My vehicle runs out of warranty next month and I asked my BMW service advisor to go ahead and update it. I already owned BimmerCode (and BimmerLink) and I was happy that I could change this back to myself. Thank you so much for sharing!

So had my software updated from dealership before warranty finished.

Am on NBTevo_Y now. Can I enable CarPlay myself now via bimmercode? Or is it still a coding job?

I am solving the same issue - 07/2018 540ix, Navevo with no wifi. I was explained that:
1. have to check if a wifi antenna is installed
2. if not, install it
3. watch

and talk to Vladimir, he can do it for 120 EUR

Need help getting my g30 m550i 2018 to have apple car play full screen. I have the BimmerCode app and OBD Link CX adapter, successfully changed interior light color. No luck on full screen car play. Car play is active after I paid through bmw store. NBTevo P183621

you can reflash HU with Esys to i-step 21-03-xx or upper then use bimmercode

How did you update to NEVTevo_Y?

Read HU_NBT2 and search hmi_39_39_128 or CARPLAY_FULLSCREEN
