I did not have option S2VBA enabled from factory, so yesterday I coded it in using E-SYS and tried to detect the TPMS sensors, which are not getting detected.

So now the iDrive is throwing a tyre pressure warning on startup and in my dash. Since the TPMS sensors are installed in the car, it is very difficult to initiate them again without removing the wheel and tyre off. The phone does not pick up NFC signal in the sensor.

Anyhow, is there any solution to this issue ? I may be forced to code the 2VB option out to get the annoying TPMS error out, until I can get the wheels/tyres off.
how did you get from this to having it working?

in my kia the pre-activated Autel just worked when i mounted the wheels

It was error on my behalf coding the car. I coded the car again and it worked fine second time. After coding it, it was just a matter of letting it speak with the TPMS sensors while driving. It took about 10-15 minutes of driving after I had coded the car to get it detected and working.

Sure, added 2VB code to Salapa, and coded to "DSC, NBT, ICM, KOMBI" modules. I basically followed this guide in reverse (please see attachment) and it worked fine for me.

Just remember, my car did not come with TPMS from factory, however, I do have Comfort Access, so the receiver hardware was already installed, I just had to "enable" it.

I did install the TPMS sensors on all four wheels a couple of months back, while putting new tyres on.

I intend to retrofit my G30 530d with TPMS. From what I understand so far, if my car has comfort access (which it does), I just need to install the sensors (Schrader 28238) in my tyres and then code 2VB to DSC, NBT, ICM and KOMBI modules. Is that correct?

Can I do that using just BimmerUtility on my laptop or will I need E-sys as well to code?

You need E-sys to add to VO.

You don't need esys.. You can use BimmerUtility. I just removed TPMS from the VO because the sensors I bought for my winters weren't the right ones, lol.

FTM for this guy until the summer.
