It was error on my behalf coding the car. I coded the car again and it worked fine second time. After coding it, it was just a matter of letting it speak with the TPMS sensors while driving. It took about 10-15 minutes of driving after I had coded the car to get it detected and working.

Sure, added 2VB code to Salapa, and coded to "DSC, NBT, ICM, KOMBI" modules. I basically followed this guide in reverse (please see attachment) and it worked fine for me.
Just remember, my car did not come with TPMS from factory, however, I do have Comfort Access, so the receiver hardware was already installed, I just had to "enable" it. I did install the TPMS sensors on all four wheels a couple of months back, while putting new tyres on.

I intend to retrofit my G30 530d with TPMS. From what I understand so far, if my car has comfort access (which it does), I just need to install the sensors (Schrader 28238) in my tyres and then code 2VB to DSC, NBT, ICM and KOMBI modules. Is that correct?
Can I do that using just BimmerUtility on my laptop or will I need E-sys as well to code? |

You don't need esys.. You can use BimmerUtility. I just removed TPMS from the VO because the sensors I bought for my winters weren't the right ones, lol.
FTM for this guy until the summer.
