- Comfort Plus
- Lane Change Assist
- Disabled the nag to keep my hands on the wheel when using Driver Assistance

I've coded other things as well but these are the ones I personally find most useful. You can find instructions for all of these and more by searching the Forum.

I usually use either an ENET cable or Kies Wi-Fi adapter since coding over Bluetooth is so infernally slow.
Can you use Bimmercode (expert mode) to disable the nag to keep hands on the wheel when using Driver Assistance?

Driving modes: comfort plus, eco pro plus, eco pro individual
M5 theme on my main control display
200mph/330kmh cluster (Alpina with additional logo's also possible)
Extra sound options such as; theatre mode, lounge mode, studio mode etc.
Headlight eyebrows always on (DRL)
Mirror turn signals always on (DRL)
Video in motion
Start animation to M-style (main control display)
RR warning chime
Acoustic lock confirmation (Some European models don't have this option)
Eco pro routing
X-drive screen
Carwash view in PDC mode
Coded ASD off (Active sound design, produces artificial engine sound trough your speakers in your car. Extremely annoying when you have an additional trunk sub installed)
Coded temperature gauge to the TPMS-monitor
Apple audio enhancement
Fullscreen Apple Carplay
Rainbow effect ambient lightning

This is for sure not the complete list of my codings. I do not remember them anymore.

If someone want to code something from this list just contact me.

Or just ask for a specific coding, maybe I can help you with that too.

Greets,
Taylyan
Did you use Pro Tool to code? Where can I get my hands on it?

I think so; you are right that it requires Expert Mode. Look at post #55 on this thread. That post talks about using ProTool but hopefully you can find the same values using Bimmercode.

Strange, just coded it easily on '21 540iX with Bimmercode

Also, what is the Apple Audio Enhancement and how do I code it?

If not, look for pop-ups under head unit in whatever app you are using.

It’s been so damn long since I coded it. I wish I could remember it for you. I think I may have had to flip a switch in expert mode. I’ll try and find the thread I found it in. May have been a Facebook group.

If I'm not mistaken, his 540i should be an LCI and I heard the G30 LCI's are codable for the 5-turns signal. Our former G30's aren't codable for this change.

These threads are great - I love the inspiration. I dont mean to come off snarky but... It reminds me of telling someone how great your car looks and then NOT posting a picture.

Lets add the coding reference to the posts please. Seems many would like the mythical "APPLE AUDIO ENHANCEMENT" for example.

I believe he is talking about upgrading the sound from Harmon Kardon to bowers and Wilkins. You can code that upgrade if your car came with harman speakers already installed.

On bimmercode you go to Head unit then select bowers and Wilkins sound settings.
Change it from unassigned value to active then go back and code.

I’m having a really hard time trying to get these two codes done

Headlight eyebrows always on (DRL)
Mirror turn signals always on (DRL)

Was this all done on BimmerCode? What were the steps?

Trying on a 2018 540i

Trying on a 2018 540i
BDC
LIC_FEATURE_2
00 -> 01
This made mirror turn signals ON with position light/low beam, but front turn signals won't.

LIC_NIVEAU_OVERRIDE_INDEX
The named value for my car is G08_CHINA_code2, it's similar to EU spec, but I think US spec has different value, and this change may or may not work.
Byte31: 02 -> 00
Byte34: 04 -> 06
(The first byte is byte 0, I made these by bimmercode)
These made front turn signals ON with position light/low beam.

BLINKERSTATUS_PLAUSIPRUEFUNG_AKTIV
01 -> 00
This made the front turn signals able to not sync with turn signal, or after about 1 minute, the front turn signals will down even if you turn on signal, and a CCM will shown, then you have to completely lock your car for about 5 minutes, and turn signals will recovered.

FLM(both side)
Disable_FRAZ_Sync_Monitoring
00 -> 01
These are the same as previous.
