When I was emailing BimmerTech support, it was actually the sound engineer for the amp. He said the sound profiles installed are focused on the driver seat since vast majority of travel is driver only, but based on the HK not the B&W profile. That may explain the front speaker emphasis. I’ve toggled the other stage and concert settings but prefer Studio. Also I have idrive 6 so I don’t have the intensity setting. Maybe it’s called something else, I’ll have to look closer.

I eventually want to do some amp tweaking myself with a laptop. I don’t know what software they use to connect to the amp. I should just email the guys to see where I can download it. Did you consider doing any amp tweaking yourself? It’s not like I need it, but it’ll give me something else to screw around with. Thats what happens when you’re retired

They provide the download link for the amp tuning software so you can tweak speakers and frequencies as you want or just load the one they send you based on feedback. My hearing is deteriorating at certain frequencies (my wife’s voice-haha) so what sounds good to me may not work for you. There’s a YouTube video of a guy who tuned his amp for a G32 using the Alpha One software so you can get an idea of what it’s capable of.

I’ll check to see if I can find the link. Yes it’s amazing how we are able to tune out our wives frequencies. I literally always respond yeah, right, absolutely. I have no idea what the hell she’s saying… or what I’m agreeing to
