got this fitted and its sounds brilliant. Got Crown Customs (based in UK) to help me fit an amp board. they come highly recommended.

I have a ACM 1.300 mono amp for sale just in case if anyone is interested.

new in box and will also sell with bass controller which is normally £50 rrp

How many watts did you end up giving the sub and is that a 10” or 12”? I’m debating a similar corner stealth sub at around 300w to an IDQ10”.

Can someone advise what parts should I get for a trunk sub installation? Decent LOC? Is there a lot of splicing involved if I don't get the Technic harness? Also not sure which harness I need. I have a 2022 HK system, and on their website there are a few different options for HK?
I also heard that certain enclosed powered subs like Rockford Fosgate P300-12 have a built in LOC?

The Technic harness is like a factory harness, plug and play. Otherwise, you're cutting and slicing and taping multiple wires. It's really a no brainer in terms of ease of install, being able to reverse it, etc.

I'm about to do this upgrade following devil84. The only difference is I will use an Alpine sub - Alpine S-W10D2 S-Series 10" Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer. It's less than half the price of the JL Audio 10w3v3 but handles similar power and the sealed enclosure size is similar to the JL.

I'm DIYing so interested if anyone has photos of where they took power from under the boot floor and what sort of connectors you used.

I haven't done the install myself yet, but you can get power and switch from the under the trunk next to the battery. I personally like using battery quick connects for the sub so I can remove it if needed.

Bugger, just went to buy the harness from technic pnp and they don't ship to Australia any longer. WTF! I'd work around it and use a forwarder but they have that locked down by only shipping to the paypal address.

Is there anyone else that makes a harness? I did some googling and came up empty.

I'm a bit confused on how to wire the sub to my PNP harness. The harness has a 4 wire out left-, left+, right-, right+ and my AMP has an RCA connector with 2 ends. How should I splice them together? My sub/amp is Rockford P300 powered sub with hi and low input options, so I am trying to avoid buying a LOC as it's probably not needed and don't want to run extra ground cable.. Thanks!

I found I can use Stackry and a new paypal account to get it shipped to a forwarder in the US. A complete faff but at least it is in theory on its way.
