Meteorology is really just throwing darts at a board with weather symbols on it. Pure luck if they're right. Yesterday the forecast for Christmas Day said 64F and partly cloudy. Today it says 57F and rain. Yesterday there were two or three days in the weekly forecast showing 60's. Today there isn't a 60F day to be seen. By tomorrow the forecast for Christmas Day will be 30F and snowing.

Just got back from a Christmas Eve walk. Windy but 60F. Bizarre. Temps are supposed to rise until they hit 65 around 2AM. Gonna cool off a bit tomorrow, but still in the upper 50s. I'll take it.

We had a heavy dusting of snow here overnight, and it didn't quite reach freezing for the high today. Not enough to qualify as a white Christmas per the official meteorological definition, but close enough if it lasts through the night without melting from the forecasted freezing rain.....

77°F all week, can't complain one bit. Going to take Tuesday and Wednesday off work, already have a tee time for Wednesday morning. In-laws are in town and usually they bring bad weather with them, but, knock on wood, they have not this time around!

It was -38C ( -36.4F) here this morning. It's only warmed up 10 degrees since then. It's the kind of cold were metal starts freezing to your hands, and the dash displays in some vehicles don't work properly til the cabin is heated.
We made the list also today for some of the coldest places on earth lol.

We need it but we panic when we get a little bit. We have floods because of burned areas from all the fires. People out here don't know how to drive in the rain. On the news it's the top story. *RAIN IN SOCAL* lol

To be fair we're in a drought and desperately need it.
