I started experimenting with pizza on the BBQ. So far, the results have been mixed. Just okay.
I ordered a Paderno® stone from Amazon on special and free shipping. Should arrive by Wednesday. ![]() |

I have tried quite a few pizza stones for the grill and oven and also have cooked pizza directly on the grates. My current favorite is FibraMent and I plan to use mine this afternoon.

Took a little road trip and came back with some goodies... two of my favourite beers and some Bumbu XO.

I strictly ration my Bumbu. It's notoriously hard to get locally and neither of the beers is available locally at all, hence the road trip.

Nice I've never had a looper and thought about it a few times.
As an aside problem with Sweetwater - why do they need to call me a few days after an order arrives to see if I need anything else? heck from my order history they should know I am well versed on how to use their system. ![]() |

Got it yesterday, but had to steal this pic off the dealer site.

After more than 25 years of only using Technivorm Moccamaster coffee makers, the last one was starting to look a little battered.
I thought I’d try an Aarke for something different this time. So far, so good, it makes excellent coffee, I can’t taste a difference and it is just as easy to use - I can make coffee before I’ve had coffee ![]() |

Home from the guitar store. The Taylor 814s that I tried out didn't move the needle. Passed. BUT did find something positive. Herre in Arizona one can not leave a guitar out handy to play cause of the arid environment. Well this one doesn't care or warp.
