I did some coding this weekend but could not find the code to disable the legal disclaimer. I have a 2018 530i (G30). I looked under the head unit and it was not there.

They are there. Same FDLs as earlier models.

I am new to this forum, though i've been watching for some time, resolving some problems with my cars with your help.
I have a 2017 G31 and recently, with cold weather arriving, i got the ''SOS Call system failure'' message, that is annoyingly blocking the instrument cluster menu. I know that the normal solution to this problem is removing the headliner and replacing the battery in the unit below the shark-fin antenna. But i also know that for some previous models there was a coding alternative, that permanently removed the message from both displays. I have successfully applied the fix to an 2017 F45 , by Bimmercode and it was something like : Instrument Cluster/Expert Mode/3301 CC_ID_Sperre/CC_ACTIVIERUNG_5/Custom Value changing Byte 5 from FF to F7. I will rather code out that warning on my G31 instead of intervening to change the battery, and that's why I'm asking if someone knows the coding necessary for this model. Thanks

I believe you can still use the hotspot locally. You just would not have internet unless you order the service. But for Screen Mirroring you just need to be on the same network, and the network exists whether or not you have an internet service provider.

That is most likely the battery in the sensor located in the rearview mirror housing. I just had to get mine replaced. You might be able to clear the error using BimmerLink, but it’s most likely going to return in a short period of time. For what it’s worth, mine only seem to do it when it was colder. I finally got annoyed with it when it got cold again and had it replaced.

I have a 2023 M550i and was trying to code the BMW M logo to the dash/map screen on startup and shut down. It seems to work on shut down, but I got the usual welcome/id screen on startup, even though I had it coded. I sent a note off to the Bimmercode folks, and they indicated that it could not be coded.

Set CC_MELDUNG_0299 to nicht_aktiv in expert mode. Worked on my 2019 540i xdrive

Ad-hoc local connection is only good for Projected services like Carplay or Android Auto. You would need active data subscription if you want internet.

You need Full Adaptive LED (Option 552).

Only Adaptive LED.
Europe has Anti-Dazzle from factory though.

Hi,

Am happy owner of a G31 540d since 2 days and would like to have a few changes made, I was thinking of:

- Window should be completely terminated when you open the door.
- the small digital Km / h display in the speedometer should go.
- Speedometer like to expand from 260 to 320 Km / h.
- Sport display ( Kw/Nm ) expand.
- Video while driving via USB.
- Can you transfer the speedometer display from the Sport, also in the Comfort speedometer?
I find the Comfort speedometer very.... boring - Alpina is too much blue for me ...

That's all I can think of for now :-)

You should be able to go to a backup in Bimmercode, if that's what you used initially. Otherwise, I got nuthin'.
