No. It's just Pure800 hybrid turbo. On E30 mix and custom tune. Dorch Stage2 HPFP. No meth.

Update: Got an email back from XHP, 2020 year onwards for F90 M5 and G30 M550i is in the next development sprint. No timeline was given but It appears that it is being worked on at least.

8HP75 Gen3 on the whole. Some LCI M5's now have the 76 as well

This is my best run so far. I'm over 100 launches so I don't have launch control anymore. so I have to shift in manual.

What do you mean? I've been in cars with over 100 and still had launch control in sport mode?

I don't have any other info on this. I've been aware of the launch control being limited to 100 since I got the car, as a bunch of others on here (mainly on the M3 and M5 boards) have said that it stops working at 100.

I launched in second gear manual and got lucky with that 60 ft. Most of my runs were 1.74 to 1.78.

My 0 to 60 was 3.10 on that run. Basically I think the transmission is what really holds these cars back.

1st Dragy runs or 1/4 mile runs...ever - went 2 times. No clue what I was doing. Completed both passes in the same spot, one says invalid because of the slope the other fine?

Launched both at 2100 rpm's - definitely felt like slow launches, hooked up fine. I'll add more power next time.

So fun!

First time I've heard BMW limits LC to 100. I wonder if it can be coded?
Maybe they do it to prevent the trans from exploding. Who knows. But thanks for the heads up. I have launched mine a whopping ONE time, but man was it fun!

It can’t be coded (yet) though XHP works around the problem. Lots of info on the M5 forum.

Custom tune and vrsf catless downpipes.

From what I read, it's the transmission manufacturer that limits launch control to 100, not BMW? Idk. I'm having to learn how to drive/launch my car now in Manual. Unfortunately manual shifting isn't as fast as automatic shifting.

I did just figure out that if I launch in M2 in D1 versus S1, the trans will upshift on its own in manual. In S1, it'll just red line. I've always read though that S1 shifts faster than D1.

I've emailed xhp a few times and requested to be on there beta testing list. So we'll see.
