Just posted my new (to me) 2018 Bluestone M550i in General Discussion!! No mods yet. Factory appearance at 26k miles.

When I was initially looking for an M550i, I was set on either black or grey. The thing that sold me on this one was the interior (full Merino leather in Tartufo) and the fact that it had a whopping 4,800 miles on the odometer when I bought it. When I first saw it in person, however, I was sold on the Bluestone Metallic color. It changed color depending on the light and is really beautiful. The one thing I wasn't certain of, and certainly a subjective opinion, was the Cerium trim, so I replaced those trim pieces with OEM parts in gloss black (with the exception of the mirror caps, which are carbon fiber). I really love the contrast. Not sure if/when I will replace the wheels, as I really like their design, but I think gloss black wheels would look really nice on this car in this color. Colors aside, these things are subtle monsters. I am loving this car.

Just did a DIY side skirt decal on mine.

I personally didn't like the OEM up close since they don't go underneath the side skirts and require the MP side skirt blades to look nice. Plus they were Ferric grey matt which I though it'll blend in a bit too much with Bluestone Metallic which defeats the whole purpose for my liking.

I did mine in matt black from a Vivid vinyl and cut them wide enough so they fold in underneath the car to my liking and then added the MP decal on top similar to OEM.

I've got the M Performance decal set as part of my MPPSK update. But you can buy it from BMW; here is the part number: 51-14-2-461-811

Hardest part after cutting them was installing it obviously but 6 hrs later I can't be happier with the result.

Ordered my new 2022 M550xi two weeks ago now.

Went with Bluestone metallic, the Ivory Nappa leather with piano black trim, 20" 668M alloys. Kept the cerum grey trim with a ceramic paint protection and tinting. They told me that the only thing I can't have from all of the aussie standard fitout was the wifi phone charging because of the semiconductor shortage...estimate on delivery was 6 months..fingers crossed

Does anyone want a low kms M340Xi...:-)
