When I was there, well Berchtesgaden, the Eagles Nest was shrouded in cloud so I didn't go up. In fact I went the opposite direction, down into the salt mines. It was a cool diversion but a bit of a disappointment as I was looking forward to seeing the Eagles Nest and the view from up there.

You are right on. They just remodeled and added a really nice restaurant. We've stayed at the Westin and the Sheraton before but we actually prefer KBH.

That car reminds me of the time I saw a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am rumbling down the streets of a village just miles from the DMZ in Korea. Totally out of place.

It's not like either of those classics, but I wasn't expecting to see this on a trip of mine. Probably not enough of the surroundings are visible for location guessing…

I was there a few years back. And the weather was sunny and clear sky.
Had an amasing view from up there :-)

Kronborg Castle in Helsingør in Denmark. My home country.
Home of Holger the dane who comes to our rescue in case Denmark is about to be run over....or so the story goes :-)

I actually attended a theater show in that place a few years back. Of course with the tale of Hamlet by Shakespeare
