Did not spend that, and explained earlier in the thread. This is a corporate fleet lease vehicle.

The F90 M5 will probably start around $99k USD. If I remember correctly the F10 M5 for the 2016 Model Year started at around $95 or $96k, which is still more than when it originally started production for the 2013 Model year and back then it started at $89k. I am expecting a fully loaded or nearly fully loaded F90 M5 to come in at around $140k USD, with things like B&W and Carbon Ceramic Brakes and such options installed.

sounds about right. A fully build M6GC is around $140 today. Shudder to think what the next gen M6 GC will come in at.

And people think nowadays a $99k car is M5 territory.

It's crazy that CCB isn't the ONLY option that's going to skyrocket the price. I see some options that are like $8k a pop. Wow.

I have no problems paying Porsche prices...if the car has Porsche depreciation

You are longing for a louder exhaust and a pure manual transmission. Why not go out on a limb one time, take a chance and get into a M3 ZCP?

I've owned more 5 series than I can count, and trust me, the M3 (notice I did not say M5) is such a dramatic improvement from behind the wheel it is worth a three year (or one car cycle) try, especially if you enjoy sporty driving.

The new three's have grown and become more comfortable. I never loved any of my 5ers after the e39 530 sport, and there have been a half dozen of them. I currently own a 2015 535M-sport with dynamic handling, and the thing drives like my grandfathers old buick.

The M3 is spectacular.... SO much more than fast.

Lucky for you there will be no $150k priced next generation M6 Gran Coupe. No, there will be no next gen 6-series at all, well not counting the all new ridiculous 6-Series GT. Nope instead, BMW has chosen to create the 8-Series which will have a Coupe, Convertible, and Gran Coupe version. And we will get ///M models of each. And they will all feature the same S63xx engine we've been using since the E70 X5M. And all of the 8 ///M models will have the new ///M xDrive system the new F90 M5 is getting. And because we went from 6 to 8, you can expect a heftier price increase from the old now discontinued 6-Series. That's the bad news. So yeah if we think a $140k F90 M5 is bad, just wait until you see a fully loaded ///M8 Gran Coupe exceed $170k! Now that's Porsche Panamera Turbo S money.

Jesus....but not surprised. It's funny b/c the Panamera depreciates very much like a BMW, though used turbos remains stubbornly high. Lucky for me, I'm aiming for a preowned F06 M6 GC! lol, I'll take the 50% residual for a 3 year old car with 40k miles, thank you very much leasee #1.

No, with 6WB, the entire cluster (almost) is a screen, including the entire speedo and tach rings, not just the center part. Of note, in non-US markets, this is also available as a retrofit: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=03_4197

Is the black module in the lower bumper some type of driver assistance feature?

Forward-looking radar. Similar to blindspot radar, but longer range, used for active cruise control and collision mitigation. Much more accurate than the camera-based collision mitigation some BMWs have (including my F30. It is disappointing on the F30.).

Beautiful car! How do the massage seats feel? I was disappointed with them in the past.

They're okay, but not something that really has any effect for me. Not something I would go out of my way to get again. Same goes for seat ventilation — I can hear it, but I don't feel it.

That's disappointing. I've had GM Rentals with seat ventilation, and on a hot day they make sitting in leather/pleather seats much less sweaty, and if you're already sweaty, the cooling effect is very noticeable.

BMW seems to lack in this category. My X6 ventilated seats are subpar. You hear more than you feel. Different leagues but when you drive a S Class, you get the full effects.
